Week 2 will be played on 28 April after Easter and the School Holidays. Week 2 will be on the normal top hard courts and bottom grass courts basis.

Umpires Practical afternoon 24 March from 1:00—3:00 Olds Park

Highly recommended!

This day had a great response last year, with terrific feedback from the participants. There will be 2 time slots and anyone from Inters, YP’s and Open can participate.

Meet at the Top Courts at Olds Park for practical coaching. Minimum 2 girls/ladies from each team for Inters, YP and Open to attend. Come along and get some handy and constructive tips from our experienced umpires. A perfect and stress-free way to learn something new or brush up on any skills.

Be prepared to play a game and get practical advice while getting in some handy pre-season practice! No cost for the day.

Planning Meeting Tuesday 13 March.

Reminder to all Club Secretaries and co-opted persons that our Planning Meeting for the coming Season will be on Tuesday 13th March 2012  7.30pm at the Uniting Church , Forest Rd, Lugarno.  If you are not able to be present then we need a representative from your Club (who you trust to make decisions for you) to attend. 29 February— Nothing to do about Netball! - Some info about how you use your Netball web site

Just thought I’d share with you all some interesting statistics about the use of this site since 2010.

Hours usage: Definitely 9am-Midday and 9pm-Midnight are the most popular times to visit the site.

Day usage: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday are low usage, a small uptick on Thursday then no surprises that Friday and Saturday are the big usage days, with back to low usage again on Sunday.

Site visits: In our first year there were 60,000 requests to access a page on this site. It may have been the news on the front page here, checking scores, downloading forms, or checking dates. As an example, if you read the news and checked the scores for say 2 divisions, then came back to the news page again,  that would show up as 4 ’pages accessed’. As the site became better known in 2011, we saw 75,000 page visits. Of interest, in 2011 twice as many people accessed the site during the last 4 weeks of the season than in 2010 so they could keep up to date with the last 2 weeks of the main draw and the Semis and Finals.

How people arrived at our site: 95% just typed in the website url directly, either as opna.info or www.opna.info. The other 5% came from google searches, mostly from google.com.au, a few from google.com, but also from other search engines as far away as Russia and Turkey.

.. And just to keep a few of us [like me] comfortable who really value our privacy, we don’t request or store any personally identifiable info on this site. We only see how many people visit, when visited, what pages visited and the Internet Browser/System/page that got them here.

Oatley West registration days will be held at Olds Park Canteen on:

Costs are: UNDER 16’S $50.00 and OVER 16’S $65.00
